About Poul Meijer en René Hunfeld

We, Poul Meijer and René Hunfeld, are the owners of AlufishingBoats B.V. René worked for many years at the shipyard of his parents. Poul is the son of a shrimp fisherman. He himself worked for a long time on ships and professional fishing.
We share passion for sport fishing.

Exclusive Crestliner dealer for the Netherlands is Nautische Unie Hunfeld BV. Various models can be admired in the showroom at Seendweg 16 in Delfzijl.

Crestliner aluminum fishing boats, a short history

The first Crestliner fishing boat was designed and built in 1946. At that time, Crestliner wanted to build a sustainable boat that could fulfill all the dreams of the recreational and competitive angler. Many successful years of development and innovation followed.

In 2004 Crestliner was taken over by the Brunswick Corporation. In doing so, Crestliner unfortunately disappeared from the European market. For several years, Crestliner and Lund have been built in a modern factory in New York Mills MN. In 2014 we reintroduced Crestliner in Europe. And with success: many European anglers are practicing their hobby in this American top fishing boat.
